Man steals nearly $500 in merchandise from Southbury CVS

SOUTHBURY — Police are seeking information about a theft at a local CVS Pharmacy where a man stole nearly $500 worth of merchandise Monday afternoon.

The Southbury Police Department responded to a reported larceny at the CVS located at 22 Depot Hill Road at approximately 12:20 p.m. on March 17.

According to police, an unknown white male entered the store at about 12:16 p.m. and took merchandise valued at approximately $491.34.

The suspect was described as having dark hair tied in a bun and was wearing blue jeans, a black zip-up hooded jacket, a grey shirt, and tan boots.

Police said the man fled the scene in a navy blue Nissan Versa, traveling in an unknown direction.

Authorities are asking anyone with information about the incident to contact Officer Hannigan of the Southbury Police Department at 203-264-5912.
