LUNENBURG — A local man was cited for disorderly conduct after allegedly interfering with firefighters responding to a blaze on Commercial Avenue.
On March 1 at approximately 2:57 p.m., troopers from the St. Johnsbury Barracks responded to a residence on Commercial Avenue to assist the Lunenburg Fire Department.
Troopers determined that Michael Malone, 33, of Lunenburg, impeded firefighters who were attempting to extinguish a fire at the request of the homeowner.
Malone was issued a citation for disorderly conduct.
He is scheduled to be arraigned on April 15 at 8:30 a.m. in Essex County Court.
