Holden police arrest man in drug trafficking investigation

HOLDEN — The Holden Police Department executed a search warrant at 90 Copeland Hill Road Thursday morning as part of an ongoing fentanyl drug trafficking and importation investigation.

Michael Tardiff, 40, who resides at the address, was arrested on an outstanding warrant from another agency, according to police.

The Penobscot County Sheriff’s Office Special Response Team assisted in the operation, which also involved a concurrent theft investigation.

Evidence was removed from the residence during the search.

Police said the investigation is ongoing and no additional information will be released at this time.
