CRAFTSBURY –– After a five-year pause prompted by COVID, the much-loved Sugar on Snow party hosted for almost twenty years by Craftsbury Community Care Center is back.
This Saturday, March 22, from 2-4 p.m. the Care Center revives its honored tradition by inviting the community to revel in local maple syrup. In keeping with tradition, glazed donuts and pickles will be served right alongside. This is a free event and all are welcome.
A favorite feature of the Care Center’s Sugar on Snow is the Lucky Draw auction of local baked goods offered up by supporters, for supporters. Adding to the fun this year are a variety of games for all ages.
The Sugar on Snow event comes just in time for the Care Center’s 30th anniversary of providing affordable, compassionate care for elders and its commitment to supporting those who built our communities.
All are invited to join residents, staff, and Board in bringing back this regional ritual.
