Bethlehem police assist NYPD in violent crime arrest

BETHLEHEM — Bethlehem police detectives assisted the New York Police Department Wednesday in apprehending a suspect wanted for violent crimes related to a domestic violence incident in New York City.

Detectives from the Bethlehem Police Department helped NYPD officers locate the suspect at a residence in Glenmont, a hamlet within the town of Bethlehem.

The suspect was taken into custody without incident, according to police officials.

After the arrest, the individual was transferred to NYPD detectives who were present at the scene.

The cooperation between the two police departments led to the successful apprehension of the suspect, who now faces charges in connection with the New York City incident.
