PORTLAND — Police arrested a 36-year-old Portland man Sunday after he allegedly threw a rock through a vehicle window, finding him in possession of cocaine and a stolen firearm.
Officers responded to the area of Chestnut and Oxford Streets at 12:08 p.m. on March 16 following reports of vehicle vandalism.
Keon Gaston was apprehended shortly after the incident and found carrying 11.6 grams of cocaine and a stolen handgun, according to police.
Gaston faces multiple charges including Theft by Receiving Stolen Property, Criminal Mischief, Illegal Possession of a Firearm, Aggravated Furnishing of Scheduled Drugs and Violating Conditions of Release.
