STURBRIDGE — Police are asking for public assistance to identify two suspects who allegedly installed card skimmers at Micknuck’s Fresh Marketplace on Saturday.
The individuals placed the devices at self-checkout stations around 5 p.m. on March 15 at the 570 Main Street location, according to the Sturbridge Police Department.
Authorities described the suspects as acting “quickly and with expertise” during the installation.
Customers who used the self-checkout terminals between 5 p.m. Saturday and 10:25 a.m. Sunday are advised to monitor their financial statements for suspicious activity.
The skimming devices were discovered and removed Sunday morning, according to officials.
