PENN YAN — A Penn Yan woman was arrested on multiple charges following a domestic incident where she was allegedly intoxicated in front of her children, according to local police.
Angelina C. Vogt-Anthony, 38, faces charges of endangering the welfare of a child, obstructing governmental administration, resisting arrest, second-degree harassment and disorderly conduct.
Officers responded to a village residence after receiving a report of a domestic disturbance.
Upon arrival, police found Vogt-Anthony highly intoxicated, according to the Penn Yan Police Department.
The victim told officers that Vogt-Anthony was intoxicated in front of her children and had pushed him when he confronted her about her behavior.
When officers attempted to arrest Vogt-Anthony, she allegedly began resisting and screaming.
After being taken into custody, Vogt-Anthony was transported to a hospital for evaluation before being held for Centralized Arraignment Part court.
