SWANTON — A New York man suffered non-life-threatening injuries after a single-vehicle crash on Interstate 89 during light snow Monday afternoon.
Nicholas Hill, 27, of Rouses Point, was injured when his 2024 Toyota Corolla crashed near mile marker 120 on northbound I-89 at approximately 2:41 p.m.
Vermont State Police responded to the scene after receiving a report of the crash.
Swanton Fire Department personnel extracted Hill from his vehicle, which was totaled in the crash.
Missisquoi Valley Rescue Squad transported Hill to the University of Vermont Medical Center for treatment.
The crash occurred during light snow with wet road conditions.
