PROVIDENCE — Rhode Island law enforcement agencies made several arrests on March 14, according to the Detective Bureau.
Lee Gervais, 35, was arrested by members of the ACI Investigations Unit for simple assault.
Gervais was arraigned in Third Division Court where he pleaded nolo contendere and received a one-year suspended sentence with one year of probation.
The same unit arrested Octavio Duarte, 36, for domestic violation of a no contact order, listed as a third offense.
Duarte was arraigned in Third Division Court and granted $2,000 surety bail.
Michael Williams, 33, was also arrested by the ACI Investigations Unit for domestic violation of a no contact order as a third offense.
Williams was presented as a Superior Court violator during his arraignment and granted $2,000 surety bail.
In a separate case, the Computer Crimes Unit/Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force arrested Juan Godinez-Nunez, 27, of Providence, for possession of child pornography.
Godinez-Nunez was processed at the Lincoln Barracks before being arraigned in Providence District Court by Judge Capraro, who issued $2,500 surety bail with conditions prohibiting unsupervised contact with minors and limiting internet use.
The Gaming Enforcement Unit arrested Rivedson Dagraca, 36, of Pawtucket, on charges of larceny from person, obstruction, and willful trespass.
Dagraca was processed at the Lincoln Barracks and transported to Third Division Court for arraignment, where he was released on $1,000 personal recognizance.
