LYNN — A joint investigation by the Lynn Drug Task Force and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) has resulted in the seizure of multiple illegally possessed firearms and drugs, officials announced Tuesday.
The operation led to the confiscation of several firearms, firearm parts, ammunition and a firearm suppressor, according to the Lynn Police Department.
Authorities also seized an unspecified quantity of illegal drugs during the investigation.
Law enforcement officials have not released information about any arrests connected to the seizures or details about when the operation took place.
The investigation was part of ongoing efforts to reduce illegal firearms and drug trafficking in the Lynn area.
