SHELDON — Vermont State Police arrested a Highgate man Sunday evening after he allegedly threatened people with a firearm at a residence on Boarding House Road.
Bradley Jarvis, 64, faces multiple charges including unlawful trespass, criminal threatening and reckless endangerment following the incident.
Troopers from the St. Albans Barracks responded to the Sheldon residence at approximately 6:15 p.m. after receiving reports of a man threatening people with a firearm and acting recklessly.
According to police, Jarvis had left the scene before officers arrived.
After interviewing victims and witnesses, authorities located Jarvis and took him into custody.
Jarvis was transported to the St. Albans Barracks for processing and was subsequently lodged on the charges.
