WEATHERSFIELD — A Connecticut man faces charges of driving under the influence and negligent operation following a crash on Interstate 91 early Monday morning.
Troopers from the Vermont State Police Westminster Barracks responded to the scene at approximately 12:43 a.m. on March 17 near mile marker 49.4 on I-91 South in Weathersfield.
According to police, Samuel T. Butler, 27, of Wallingford, Connecticut, was determined to be under the influence of alcohol at the time of the crash.
Butler was arrested and transported to the Westminster Barracks for processing.
He was later released with a criminal citation and is scheduled to appear in the Vermont Superior Court, Windsor Unit, Criminal Division on April 1 at 8:30 a.m.
