CABOT — Vermont State Police arrested a 32-year-old Cabot man Sunday evening on a fugitive warrant from New Hampshire for charges equivalent to lewd and lascivious conduct.
Troopers from the Berlin Barracks responded to a report of suspicious activity at a residence on S Walden Road in Cabot at approximately 6:58 p.m. on March 16.
While speaking with residents, officers made contact with Tyler Prue, 32, of Cabot.
Authorities discovered Prue had an active warrant from New Hampshire.
After confirming the warrant with New Hampshire officials, troopers took Prue into custody and transported him to the St. Johnsbury Barracks for processing.
Per court order, Prue was held without bail at Northeast Correctional Complex.
He was issued a citation to appear in Vermont Superior Court, Washington County Criminal Division, on March 17 at 12:30 p.m.
