PROVIDENCE — Two individuals were arrested Monday afternoon by Rhode Island State Police following separate hit-and-run incidents in Providence.
Freddie Kollie, 19, of Cranston, was arrested at 1:13 p.m. for leaving the scene of an accident resulting in damage to an attended vehicle.
The arrest stemmed from a motor vehicle accident investigation on Route 95 North in Providence.
Kollie was transported to the Lincoln Woods Barracks where he was processed, arraigned by a Justice of the Peace and released with a future court date in Sixth District Court.
In a separate incident, troopers arrested Erika Castillo, 33, of Providence, at 2:15 p.m. for leaving the scene of an accident resulting in damage to an attended vehicle.
Castillo’s arrest followed a motor vehicle accident investigation on Route 10 South in Providence.
She was also transported to Lincoln Woods Barracks, processed, arraigned by a Justice of the Peace and released with a future Sixth District Court date.
