COLONIE — The Colonie Police Department responded to an incident at a private residence on Wedgewood Drive early Monday at approximately 3:30 a.m., with officers remaining at the location until about 10 a.m.
The incident was safely concluded and there is no threat to the general public, according to police officials.
Vehicular traffic was restricted in the area during the six-hour police operation, but roads are now open to all traffic.
Police have not released details about the nature of the incident.
The Colonie Police Department thanked residents for their patience during the extended response.
