WATERBURY — A Starksboro man was cited for cocaine possession after police discovered approximately 16 grams of the drug in his vehicle following a traffic stop.

Noah Lincoln, 35, was initially pulled over by Vermont State Police troopers from the Berlin Barracks at Exit 10 in Waterbury at approximately 11:02 p.m. on March 3.

During the stop, troopers observed drug paraphernalia in the vehicle, which was then seized pending a search warrant application.

Lincoln was initially cited for driving with a criminally suspended license.

On March 13, when Lincoln arrived at the Berlin Barracks to retrieve his vehicle, troopers issued him a citation for cocaine possession based on evidence found during the execution of the search warrant.

Lincoln is scheduled to appear in Washington County Superior Court Criminal Division to answer to both charges.
