SOMERS — A brush fire broke out at the former IBM campus Friday, prompting response from multiple Somers Volunteer Fire Department units.
The fire was reported at 4:30 p.m. on March 14 at the Old IBM campus.
Responding firefighters discovered a brush fire measuring approximately 50 feet by 10 feet upon arrival.
Fire personnel operated at the scene for about an hour and a half before returning to service.
