MILO — Police are seeking information about two individuals who attempted to break into a gas pump at Tradewinds Marketplace early Tuesday morning.
The incident occurred at 1:38 a.m. when the suspects tried to access the cash box of one of the gas pumps, according to store management.
Security footage captured the individuals spending significant time attempting to break into the pump, but they were ultimately unsuccessful.
The suspects left without taking anything, but the business reports it now faces costly repairs to the damaged equipment.
Store officials said the cash box contained only $10 at the time of the attempted theft.
Tradewinds Marketplace has released video footage of the incident in hopes someone will recognize the suspects by their clothing or movements.
