SAINT JOHNSBURY — A Sutton man was arrested and charged with his third DUI offense after state police observed several moving violations on U.S. Route 2 early Saturday morning.
Todd Sumner, 46, was stopped by Vermont State Police troopers on routine patrol at 1:19 a.m. March 15.
During the traffic stop, troopers detected indicators of impairment, according to police.
Sumner was arrested and charged with DUI #3, negligent operation, and driving with a suspended license.
He was transported to the Saint Johnsbury Barracks for processing.
Sumner was later issued a citation to appear in Caledonia County Superior Court – Criminal Division and released.
