Lyndon man arrested for domestic assault at His Hill Road residence

LYNDON — A 22-year-old Lyndon man was arrested Friday evening after allegedly threatening a family member at a residence on His Hill Road.

Vermont State Police from the Saint Johnsbury Barracks responded to a reported disturbance at approximately 7:26 p.m. on March 14.

Upon arrival, troopers determined that Ian E. Steele had threatened a household family member, causing the victim to fear serious bodily injury.

Steele was taken into custody without incident and transported to the Saint Johnsbury State Police Barracks for processing.

Following his arrest, Steele was lodged at Northeast Correctional Complex.

He was issued a citation to appear in Caledonia County Superior Court Criminal Division on March 17 at 12:30 p.m.

State police do not release the names of victims in domestic assault cases.
