LEICESTER — Members of the Worcester Police Vice Squad arrested a man and recovered a firearm and approximately 500 grams of cocaine during a warrant execution on Thursday, March 13.
Officers, who were in possession of a warrant for a Leicester address, were seeking John Bradley, 46, who had outstanding warrants for multiple drug trafficking violations.
With assistance from Leicester Police and Worcester Police Department Emergency Operations officers, the team made entry into the residence.
Upon entry, Bradley was observed exiting a bedroom on the first floor and was placed under arrest for his outstanding warrants.
Based on information developed at the scene, Vice Officers applied for a search warrant for the residence to search for cocaine and drug-related evidence.
After obtaining the search warrant, Worcester Vice Squad and Leicester Police Detectives conducted a thorough search of the residence.
Officers recovered approximately 500 grams of cocaine, drug packaging and processing materials, a loaded firearm, ammunition, and two large capacity “drum style” magazines from the same room Bradley was seen exiting.
In addition to the existing warrants, Bradley will face numerous additional drug trafficking and firearms related charges.
