HARTLAND — A 35-year-old Hartland woman faces charges after allegedly stealing a vehicle and driving it to New Hampshire, state police said.
Amanda Sturk was issued a criminal citation for aggravated operation without consent of owner following the March 15 incident.
Troopers with the Vermont State Police were notified of a stolen vehicle from a residence on US Route 5 in Hartland at approximately 10:55 a.m.
Lebanon, NH Police later informed Vermont authorities that the vehicle had been located in Lebanon.
Investigation revealed that Sturk took the vehicle from the Hartland residence before driving it across state lines to Lebanon.
Sturk is scheduled to appear in Windsor Superior Court – Criminal Division on April 15 at 8:30 a.m.
