Police seize drugs, paraphernalia in Machias apartment search

MACHIAS — The Machias Police Department executed a search warrant at an apartment on Valley View Road Thursday as part of an ongoing investigation into illegal drug activity in the area.

Officers seized prescription pills, drug paraphernalia and white powder during the March 13 search, according to a statement released by the department.

The investigation is ongoing and charges are pending.
