Police seek public’s help identifying Brighton assault suspect

BOSTON — Boston police are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying a suspect connected to an assault and battery incident at a Brighton YMCA.

The incident occurred at approximately 2:28 p.m. on Wednesday, March 12, at the YMCA located at 615 Washington Street.

Detectives from District D-14 described the suspect as a Black male with short dreadlocks, earrings, and a chain.

The man was last seen wearing a black shirt featuring a chain-link fence and basketball hoop design, black basketball shorts with a white stripe, and red and black sneakers.

Boston Police Department is actively investigating the incident and urges anyone with information to contact District D-14 Detectives at (617) 343-4256.
