MACHIAS — The Machias Police Department seized crack cocaine and prescription pills during a search warrant execution at a local motel on Feb. 12 at 3:00 p.m.
The search was part of an ongoing investigation into illegal drug activity in the area.
According to police, the occupants of the motel room were not present when officers executed the warrant.
Arrest warrants were issued for Mallory Johnson, a 38-year-old Machias woman, and Nakia Albee, a 26-year-old woman from Milbridge.
Both women face charges of possession of illegal drugs and violation of conditional release.
Johnson has since turned herself in to authorities, while Albee remains at large with an active arrest warrant.
