BOSTON — Boston police officers from multiple districts, along with federal agents, dismantled a drug trafficking organization during a coordinated operation at about 8:25 a.m. Wednesday, March 12.
The joint investigation involved Drug Control Units from East Boston, Roxbury, Mattapan, South Boston, Dorchester, Jamaica Plain, and Hyde Park districts, as well as the Auto Theft Unit, DEA Boston Strike Force and FBI Task Force.
Officers executed 15 search warrants targeting five suspects, six locations, and four motor vehicles.
Authorities recovered approximately 829 grams of fentanyl, 4 grams of crack cocaine, drug paraphernalia, and $160,000 in U.S. currency during the raids.
A motor vehicle and motorcycle allegedly used to facilitate drug sales and distribution were also seized.
Danny Guerrero-Soto, 52, of Dorchester, was charged with trafficking of fentanyl, possession with intent to distribute Class A, and two counts of distribution of Class A.
Juan A. Soto-Guerrero, 31, of Roxbury, faces charges of trafficking of fentanyl, possession with intent to distribute Class B, and unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle.
Justin Davila-Sanchez, 35, of Mattapan, was charged with trafficking of fentanyl and possession of Class A.
Dariel Santana-Guerrero, 28, of Dorchester, was charged with trafficking of fentanyl.
All four suspects are expected to be arraigned in their respective district courts.
