PUTNEY — Deputies with the Windham County Sheriff’s Office arrested a local man Wednesday on a warrant for failure to appear in court.
Stephen R. Mecheski, 21, of Putney, was taken into custody at approximately 12:04 p.m. at his residence on Shag Bark Hill.
Mecheski was transported to the Superior Court of Vermont-Criminal Division-Windham Unit following his arrest.
The court set bail at $2,000.
Mecheski was scheduled to appear in court on March 12.
