Montgomery man faces 2nd DUI charge after Eden traffic stop

EDEN — Vermont State Police arrested a Montgomery man on suspicion of driving under the influence following a traffic stop Monday evening on VT Route 118 near Warren Road.

Samuel Blouin, 48, was pulled over at approximately 7:31 p.m. after troopers observed a moving violation, according to police.

During the interaction, officers detected several indicators of impairment, leading to Blouin’s arrest on suspicion of DUI, his second such offense.

Blouin was transported to the Morrisville Police Department for processing.

After processing, he was released with a citation to appear at the Lamoille County Superior Court on March 26 at 12:30 p.m. to answer to the charge.
