IRASBURG — A Newport woman escaped injury Saturday after her vehicle rolled onto its side on a snow-covered road in Irasburg.
Emily Corkins, 30, lost control of her 2019 Subaru Crosstrek while negotiating a corner on Vermont Route 14 near Stackleberg Road around 2:24 p.m., according to Vermont State Police.
The vehicle sustained substantial passenger-side damage and the airbags deployed.
Police said drifting snow created hazardous road conditions at the time of the crash.
Orleans EMS, Orleans Fire Department and Grenier’s Towing assisted state police at the scene.
