FRANKLIN — A two-car collision occurred on a snowy Browns Corner Road in Franklin at approximately 4:50 p.m. on March 4.
The vehicles involved were a 2018 Kia Sorento, driven by 65-year-old Sheri Pastina from Hyde Park, and a 2016 Buick Verano, driven by 49-year-old Barbara Carrell from Lancaster, California.
Pastina’s passenger, 70-year-old Nina Allan from Eden, was also present in the Kia Sorento.
The crash resulted in front-end damage to both vehicles.
Pastina and Allan sustained suspected serious injuries and were transported to Northwest Medical Center.
Carrell sustained suspected minor injuries and was also taken to Northwest Medical Center.
All parties involved in the crash were wearing seat belts.
The Vermont State Police were assisted at the scene by Missisquoi Valley Rescue, Enosburg Ambulance, and the Franklin Fire Department.
