POTSDAM — A traffic stop conducted by the St. Lawrence County Sheriff’s Deputies on County Route 59 in the Town of Potsdam resulted in significant drug-related charges on Friday morning.
Elizabeth L. Daniels was apprehended during the stop and charged with multiple felonies related to drug possession and intent to sell.
The charges include criminal possession of a controlled substance in the second degree, a Class A-2 felony, for holding 10 grams of stimulant.
She also faces two counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance in the third degree, a Class B felony, indicating intent to sell narcotic drugs.
Additionally, Daniels was charged with two counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance, another Class B felony, and criminal use of drug paraphernalia, classified as a Class A misdemeanor.
Upon her arrest, deputies recovered 18 grams of cocaine, 11 grams of methamphetamine, and 150 packets of fentanyl.
Daniels was arraigned in the Town of Potsdam Court and subsequently remanded to the St. Lawrence County Correctional Facility without bail.
