OWEGO — The Owego Police Department received a total of 151 calls for service during the week from Sunday, Feb. 24, through Sunday, March 2.
Two arrests were made during this period.
There were six motor vehicle accidents reported.
Police issued a total of two traffic tickets.
A 15-year-old juvenile from the Town of Tioga was arrested for obstructing governmental administration in the second degree, a misdemeanor.
This occurred following an investigation of a disturbance on Chestnut Street.
The juvenile was issued an appearance ticket and is required to return to Tioga County Family Court.
Louis E. Duncan, 65, of Owego was arrested for menacing in the second degree and criminal possession of a weapon in the fourth degree, both misdemeanors.
This followed an investigation of an assault on Belva Lockwood Lane.
Duncan was transferred to the custody of the Tioga County Sheriff’s Office for arraignment at the Tioga County Centralized Arraignment Court.
