CLIFTON PARK — The Saratoga County Sheriff’s Office responded to an assault call on Lapp Road on Monday at 1:02 p.m.
Following an investigation, Nicholas A. Gidley, 34, of Clifton Park, was arrested for assault in the second degree, a class D felony.
Gidley is accused of intentionally causing physical injury to another person by striking them on the head with a guitar, a deadly weapon or dangerous instrument.
The victim was taken by Clifton Park-Halfmoon EMS to Samaritan Hospital for evaluation and treatment of a head laceration.
Gidley was released on an appearance ticket and is awaiting further proceedings in the Clifton Park Town Court.
