BALLSTON — The Saratoga County Sheriff’s Office responded to an active domestic incident on Dominic Drive in the town of Ballston Thursday at 9:09 p.m.
Following the investigation, Patrick R. Vezeau, 59, of Saratoga Springs, was arrested.
Vezeau faces charges of aggravated family offense and criminal contempt in the 1st degree, both class E felonies, as well as harassment in the 2nd degree, a violation.
Authorities allege Vezeau committed a specified offense under the statute after having been convicted of a similar offense within the past five years.
He is also accused of violating an order of protection by striking the victim in the facial area.
Vezeau was arraigned before Judge Ellwood A. Sloat Jr. in Malta Town Court and was released on his own recognizance.
Further proceedings are pending in Ballston Town Court.
