SARATOGA — The Saratoga County Sheriff’s Office responded to a harassment complaint on Thursday that allegedly took place on Wednesday in the town of Wilton.

After investigating the complaint, authorities executed a search warrant at a residence on Arrow Wood Place in the town of Malta, resulting in the arrest of Jeffery P. Azzoto, 35, of Malta.

Azzoto faces 22 counts of criminal possession of a weapon in the third degree, four counts of manufacturing large capacity ammunition feeding devices, three counts of criminal possession of a firearm, and one count of stalking in the fourth degree.

Azzoto is accused of conduct that caused significant harm to the victim’s mental and emotional health after being clearly informed to cease contact.

He is also charged with possessing assault weapons and manufacturing large capacity ammunition feeding devices.

Azzoto was arraigned before Judge Timothy M. Brown in Milton Town Court and has been remanded to the Saratoga County Jail pending further proceedings.
