WOODFORD — Troopers from the Vermont State Police responded to a reported crash involving an intoxicated driver on Vermont Route 9 at approximately 7:34 p.m. on Feb. 28.
The driver, identified as Katherine Malone Brown, 49, of New York, was found with multiple indicators of impairment, according to the state police.
Following an investigation, Brown was determined to have operated a vehicle under the influence on a public highway in Woodford.
Brown was arrested on suspicion of DUI and transported to the Shaftsbury Barracks for processing.
She was later released and issued a citation to appear at the Vermont Superior Court – Bennington Criminal Division on March 17 at 8:30 a.m.
