CLINTON — At approximately 8:40 p.m. on Thursday, the Clinton Public Safety Dispatch Center received multiple 911 calls reporting heavy smoke from an apartment door at the Oxford Court apartment complex.
Officers from the Clinton Police Department and firefighters from the Clinton Fire Department swiftly arrived on the scene.
They were soon joined by mutual aid partners from nearby communities.
The Clinton Fire Department quickly contained and extinguished the fire.
Four officers were treated and released from Clinton Hospital for smoke inhalation.
