WILTON — State Police assigned to the Troop G Community Stabilization Unit, with assistance from the Saratoga County Sheriff’s Office, arrested Lateef K. Roberts, 25, of Schenectady on drug possession charges.
On Feb. 24, at about 3:56 p.m., Troopers stopped a vehicle on I-87 in Wilton for a Vehicle and Traffic Law violation.
Roberts was identified as a passenger in the vehicle.
With assistance from Saratoga County Sheriff’s Office K9 Bush, Troopers discovered approximately 1.5 pounds of a substance that later field tested positive for methamphetamine among Roberts’s belongings.
The controlled substances were seized, and Roberts was arrested at the scene.
The driver was released without criminal charges.
Roberts was transported to SP Wilton for processing.
He was arraigned at Wilton Town Court and remanded to the Saratoga County Correctional Facility without bail.
