WARWICK — Troopers arrested a Massachusetts man Friday morning on an outstanding warrant for larceny over $500.
Brian Whitney, 54, of Leominster, was taken into custody around 9:48 a.m. following a motor vehicle stop on Quaker Lane.
Authorities said the arrest stemmed from a Providence Superior Court full bench warrant for failure to appear for a pre-arraignment conference related to a charge originating from the Central Falls Police Department.
Whitney was transported to the Rhode Island State Police Wickford Barracks for processing.
He was later turned over to Providence Superior Court.
