GREENWICH — The Greenwich Police Department’s Narcotics Division, in collaboration with the State of Connecticut Department of Consumer Protection, executed a search warrant at Stateline Smoke Shop following an investigation into illegal drug activity.
The search warrant was carried out at 215 Mill St. on Jan. 29 after authorities confirmed the sale of illicit products exceeding state legal limits.
The investigation began after a concerned citizen reported suspicious activity at the smoke shop.
Undercover officers conducted several controlled purchases between November and January, obtaining various illegal items.
Investigators seized more than 1,200 illicit products, totaling approximately 28.8 pounds of THC.
Among the seized items was a 3,000mg edible product, surpassing the state’s legal limit of 5mg per package.
Officers also confiscated $632 in cash believed to be connected to illegal sales.
Authorities said the investigation is ongoing.
