Broadalbin fire crews battle fully involved structure fire on County Highway 110

BROADALBIN — A fully involved structure fire broke out Wednesday afternoon on County Highway 110 at Burma Road in the Town of Broadalbin, prompting a multi-agency response.

The Broadalbin-Kennyetto Fire Company was dispatched at 12:47 p.m.

The Perth Volunteer Fire Company was also toned out, along with police and Lake Valley EMS.

The Berkshire Volunteer Fire Department was called to standby at the Broadalbin-Kennyetto fire station with air-pack qualified firefighters.

A Broadalbin-Kennyetto fire official confirmed all residents had evacuated the structure.

Mutual aid was provided by the Perth, Berkshire, Galway, Providence, Mayfield, Northville, Edinburg, and Hagaman fire departments.

Broadalbin-Kennyetto Fire Police and the Broadalbin-Kennyetto Fire Auxiliary assisted at the scene, along with the Perth Auxiliary.

No civilian injuries were reported.

One firefighter was treated at the scene and later at Nathan Littauer Hospital for minor burns.
