WILTON — The Saratoga County Sheriff’s Office responded to an inactive domestic incident call on Timberland Drive on Sunday at 7:05 p.m.
Deputies arrested Maizie G. McCormick, 32, of Wilton, on charges of criminal contempt in the first degree, a class E felony, as well as assault in the third degree and criminal mischief in the fourth degree, both class A misdemeanors, and harassment in the second degree, a violation.
Authorities said McCormick violated an order of protection by punching the protected party, causing physical injury.
She is also accused of damaging the victim’s cell phone and biting a sheriff’s deputy on the hand.
McCormick is scheduled to be arraigned in Wilton Town Court on Tuesday.
