EAST HARTFORD — Officers responded to a robbery at a Chase Bank on Feb. 18, according to the East Hartford Police Department.
The male suspect fled the scene before dispatch received the call.
Police quickly released a description of the suspect and his direction of travel.
Using evidence and prior investigative knowledge, officers identified the suspect as Brandon Rolax.
He was found soon after at Alumni Park in possession of the stolen money and other evidence linking him to the crime.
Rolax was taken into custody without incident and is facing multiple charges, including first-degree robbery and first-degree threatening.
