MASSENA — State Police arrested Darrien F. White, a 30-year-old resident of Akwesasne, Ontario, on Feb. 21 for third-degree assault.
At approximately 10:02 p.m., troopers responded to an assault complaint on Roosevelt Road in the town of Massena.
The investigation determined that White and the victim were involved in a verbal argument that escalated into a physical altercation.
During the altercation, White struck the victim in the face, causing a broken nose.
The victim was treated at the scene by Massena EMS but declined further medical attention at a hospital.
White was arrested and taken to SP Massena for processing.
He was released on an appearance ticket for a future court date in March at the Town of Massena Court.
