LEROY — At 12:30 a.m., police responded with LeRoy Fire Department to a fire alarm at U of R Medical Associates at 127 West Main St.
Officers found an adult woman behind the building with her two children, ages 12 and 14. She was working as a cleaner for the business.
Police determined she had driven to work while allegedly intoxicated. A breath test showed a blood alcohol concentration of .21, nearly three times the legal limit.
Authorities said her children had been dropped off to her while she was cleaning. Child Protective Services was contacted, and the children were turned over to a relative.
She was arrested and later released.
