LYNDON — Vermont State Police responded to a reported assault Sunday morning at a youth hockey tournament at Fenton Chester Arena.
Troopers arrived at 145 College Rd. at 8:57 a.m. and spoke with witnesses, who said Jaqueline Fingon, 41, of Rutland, physically accosted Jennifer Mielewski, 39, of St. Johnsbury, following a verbal dispute.
Investigators determined that Mielewski, who was pregnant, sustained minor injuries.
Fingon was located and cited to appear in Caledonia County Superior Court on March 31 on a charge of simple assault.
