SHAFTSBURY — A Shaftsbury man has been charged with stalking after a household member discovered a recording device in their bedroom, according to Vermont State Police.
Police said the incident was reported at 11:27 a.m. on Jan. 21.
An investigation by the Vermont State Police Bureau of Criminal Investigations determined the device had been placed in the bedroom to record and surveil the household member without their consent, police said.
Authorities identified the suspect as Jesse Glover, 41, of Shaftsbury.
Glover was issued a criminal citation to appear in Vermont Superior Court—Bennington Criminal Division at 8:30 a.m. on April 7.
He was released on his own recognizance.
