MALTA — The Saratoga County Sheriff’s Office arrested a Malta man Saturday on multiple charges related to a Feb. 19 stabbing call.
Bradley W. Crannell, 52, was taken into custody on a warrant issued by the Malta Town Court.
He is charged with first-degree criminal contempt, a class E felony, as well as petit larceny, endangering the welfare of a child, both class A misdemeanors, and second-degree harassment, a violation.
Authorities accuse Crannell of violating an order of protection by shoving the protected party.
He is also alleged to have acted in a manner likely to harm the mental and moral welfare of a child under 17 years old by engaging in the charged conduct in the child’s presence.
Crannell is further accused of stealing the victim’s cellphone.
He was arraigned before Judge Ellwood A. Sloat Jr. in Malta Town Court and was remanded to the Saratoga County Jail pending further proceedings.
