BRATTLEBORO — A two-vehicle crash on Interstate 91 southbound near mile marker 8.1 resulted in a DUI charge for one driver Saturday afternoon, authorities said.
Vermont State Police responded to the scene at approximately 4:41 p.m.
Investigators determined that a 2024 GMC Sierra driven by Mark J. Meade, 52, of Southington, crossed lanes and struck a 2015 Subaru Forester operated by Colleen E. Sculley, 52, of Gill.
Meade displayed signs of impairment, police said, and was processed for DUI.
Sculley’s vehicle was totaled, while Meade’s vehicle sustained moderate front-end damage.
No injuries were reported.
Meade is scheduled to appear at Vermont Superior Court, Windham County Criminal Division, on March 11 at 8:30 a.m. to face the charge.
